Art & Crafts Classes
The RiverWinds Community Center's Arts & Crafts programs provide an outlet for the artist in all of us, hosting a variety of mediums with which to work during a varied programming schedule. Among its many amenities, the Arts & Crafts room boasts an electric kiln for ceramic work, and ample work space for painting, sculpture, crafts, and more.

Spring 2023
- A 4-week ceramic class where participants will create functional, or decorative beautifully designed objects using a combination of basic clay hand building techniques of coils, slabs, rolling pins and pinch pots. Each student will design a unique project which can range from trays, cake plates, bowls, baskets, pitchers and much more. Students will also learn how to paint and glaze their pieces which are fired in the kiln. No prior experience necessary. Students who have taken previous classes can use the skills and techniques that they have learned to create more complex projects.
Please note: You must sign up for all 4 weeks.

- Watercolor PLUS Class
- A 4-week Watercolors class: Have you completed the Beginner Watercolor Class but feel like you need a bit more guidance to bring your paintings to the next step? This class may be just what your looking for! All materials included. Must sign up for the 4 weeks.
- Mondays
- Morning Session from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm OR Afternoon Session 12:30pm to 3:30pm
- March 27th, April 3rd, April 17th & April 24th
- May 1st - May 22nd
- Morning Session from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm OR Afternoon Session 12:30pm to 3:30pm
- Tuesdays
- Mornings from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

- Must choose either the Morning or Afternoon Session for the full 4 weeks, you cannot combine times during a session.
